Please specify the variety required in the Special Instructions in the shopping cart
when you pay.

These are available grafted onto one of the following rootstocks, any of which is usually suitable. If you have particular requirements please contact us as we will do our best to help you find exactly what you want. (Note: eventual heights are for trees left un-pruned).
  • M111 Approx height 5m. Vigorous and suitable on poorer soil as the tap root does not penetrate as deep as M25 so more of the root structure is in better soil.
  • M25 Approx height 7m Vigorous rootstock ideal for upland situations.
  • MM106 Approx height 5m. Semi vigorous, ideal for gardens and lowlands.
  • Crab apple is often planted in and around commercial orchards to aid pollination.

Our fruit guards are top quality brand name guards for the best protection and tree care. They are 0.6m tall or taller and 130 to 160mm expandable diameter with a flared rim. Stakes are our own locally sawn timber, kiln dried to reduce postage costs, 32mm x 32mm and between 3ft and 4ft tall. Contact us for larger volumes of stakes.

A chemical free approach to weeding, our mulch mats are woven polypropylene 50cm x 50cm with a pre cut slit for easier fitting. They also help to reduce moisture loss and to increase soil temperature. We can source biodegradable mats (min quantities will apply) or you could use old carpet tiles as an alternative.
